Overview

We love matching our Maine Coon kittens with families who will treasure them for a lifetime. This page explains the key steps in our process, from reservation to go-home day, along with the health and care standards we follow at Smoky Mountain Maine Coons.

Reservation Process

Quick summary: You submit a reservation request, we review your application, and then connect to confirm fit, timing, and next steps before any payment is made.

1. Submit a Reservation Request

To begin, please complete our reservation form. This helps us learn about your home, family, other pets, and what you’re hoping for in a kitten (color, gender, personality, etc.).

  • Fill out the form on our Reservation Page.
  • Include as much detail as you’d like about your ideal kitten.
  • Let us know if you are flexible on timing or specific litters.

2. Approval & Matching

Once we receive your request, we review it personally. If we feel that one of our kittens will be a good fit, we’ll reach out to talk through timing, available litters, and what to expect next.

Health & Care Standards

Our kittens are raised in our home and are part of our daily life. We are intentional about both physical health and emotional/social development.

Health Protocols

  • Parents are from championship European bloodlines.
  • Queens are screened for HCM and other inheritable conditions.
  • Routine vet checks and age-appropriate vaccinations.
  • Regular deworming according to our veterinarian’s protocol.

Socialization

Kittens grow up underfoot and around normal household activity. They hear vacuums, dishes, laughter, and everyday life so they can transition more easily into your home.
