Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

  1. Sponsor. Smoky Mountain Maine Coons P.O. BOX 156 Blaine, TN 37709.
  2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C., 21 years or older at time of entry. Must be able to pick up in East Tennessee or Ft. Wayne, Indiana by Dec. 28, 2025. Void where prohibited or restricted. Household limit: up to two (2) distinct entrants per household. Employees/household members of Sponsor are not eligible.
  3. Promotion Period. Begins Oct 17, 2025 at 12:00 AM ET and ends Dec 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET. Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper.

4. How to Enter; Entry Limits. 

  • Application form required for vetting and identity: 
  • Online Entrants Buy supporter tickets & Complete  online Vetting application  ( will pop up after payment ): during the Promotion Period.
  • Mail in Entrants complete online vetting application &  mail in entry as detailed below during the Promotion Period.
  •  Optional Paid Supporter Tickets: Each ticket equals one (1) additional entry. Discounted bundles may be offered. Purchasing tickets does not change the odds per entry. 
  • Free Mail-In AMOE: As an alternative to purchasing  supporter tickets, entrants may obtain additional entries for free via mail (see Section 5).
  • Total Cap: Maximum 50 entries per person across all methods combined. Multiple entrants may not share the same email, phone number, or mailing address. 

Equal Dignity: All entry methods have identical entry weight and deadlines. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

5. Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE). Hand-print on a 3″×5″ card your full name, mailing address, city, state, ZIP, email, phone number, date of birth, and the statement: “I have read and agree to the Official Rules of the Smoky Mountain Maine Coons Adoption Credit Drawing.” Sign and date the card. Mail in a first-class stamped envelope to: SMMC Adoption Credit Drawing – AMOE, P.O. Box 156 Blaine, TN 37709. One (1) card per envelope; no metered or bulkmail

Vetting; Finalists.
Sponsor reviews all entries using SMMC’s standard pet-only placement criteria. Only entries marked Approved/Pre-approved become Finalists eligible for the random drawing. Sponsor may request references, landlord approval, or veterinary confirmation and may disqualify any entrant who does not meet welfare standards.

Winner Selection; Odds.
On/about Dec 14, 2025, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible Finalist entries using a third-party randomizer and will retain a draw log. Odds depend on the number of eligible Finalist entries.

Prize.
One (1) winner receives the opportunity to adopt an SMMC kitten under SMMC’s standard pet-only contract plus an Adoption Fee Credit up to $2,500 toward eligible adoptable kittens (no cash value). Travel/transport not included. If the winner declines or fails verification/contract, an alternate may be selected.
